The Key Information Document (KID) is a standardized product information document required by the EU regulation on Packaged Retail and Insurance-based Investment Products (PRIIPs) and the Swiss Financial Services Act (FinSA). It provides a brief and simplified overview about key features, risks and costs of certain financial instruments. In addition, it facilitates the comparison between different products.
Both PRIIPs KID and FinSA KID are applicable to advisory and execution services (only buy transactions) provided to retail investors domiciled in or serviced from the EEA (European Economic Area) and Switzerland, respectively. In case the product manufacturer does not provide a FinSA KID, the PRIIPs version can be used alternatively since it is accepted under FinSA as a legal equivalent. If you are domiciled in or serviced from the EEA, please make sure you access the PRIIPs KID.
Retail investors domiciled in the UK should review the relevant UK KID.
By using the search function you can retrieve KIDs of Credit Suisse and third party products. KIDs for UBS issued products are available on the website of UBS (https://www.ubs.com/keyinvest). In case no KID is found or in case the correct KID for the retail investor location cannot be found, please contact your Relationship Manager.
